poor soundproofing broken tv remote

The room i got was pretty disappointing. i booked a "beautiful queen room" and expected better soundproofing. i could hear everything from the hallway, even late at night, really disrupted my sleep. also, the tv remote didn't work properly. It took multiple tries to change channels. no one seemed to care when i mentioned this to the front desk which was quite annoying

Excellent location and friendly service

room upgrade helpful staff solo traveler

i received a surprise room upgrade because it was my birthday month. the staff was wonderful and helpful, especially sofie who checked me in. coffee pods and toiletries were constantly replenished, a nice touch. i not sketchy at all as a solo traveler there.

Our room was on the 5th floor. The elevator only reached the 4th floor. i had to climb one floor and it was quite noisy. walking inside the room made the floor creak noticeably, a bit annoying.

limited elevator cold water

I found some issues . The elevator only goes to the fourth floor. My room was on the fifth floor, so I had to carry my luggage up one flight of stairs. there was no hot water one morning. I had to shower with cold water.

The reception staff proved very friendly. The room was comfortable and clean.

The elevator did not reach my floor (the 5th). I had to walk up one flight of stairs. This would be challenging for some guests. There was no hot water one morning at 9:30 AM, forcing me to take a cold shower.

decent stay overall

good culture decent room standard room hotel overbooked

i liked the room size. it was decent and the location was excellent too. this means they have a good culture regardless of who you meet there.

we had booked and paid for a superior room several months in advance. we were told that the hotel was over booked. we had been downgraded to a standard room. it was tucked away on the ground floor with the only window looking straight into someone else's courtyard.
